About this site

We built a free online M3U8 player: open the page, paste a URL and watch — no sign-up, no download, no plugin.

What the tool does

It plays an m3u8 / HLS playlist in your browser. If you have a playlist URL (usually ending in .m3u8), paste it into the box on the home page, press Play, and it starts.

Why we built it

HLS is one of the most common streaming formats, yet browser support is inconsistent: Safari plays it natively while Chrome, Edge and Firefox do not by default. The same URL works for one person and fails for another, sending people hunting for extensions or desktop players. We wanted to make this simple — one page, one input box, done.

How to use it

Three steps: get an m3u8 URL, paste it into the box, press Play. Both VOD and live streams are supported, and you can drag a local .m3u8 file onto the page as well.

What we stick to

No sign-up and no account data; every interface asset is served from this site with no external scripts, icon fonts or images; no pop-up ads and no "install our app" nudges; the URL you paste is used for the current playback only and never appears in a shareable link.
